MEET YOUR HOSTS

Meet the people behind Lappiland

From the first hello to the final goodbye, we’re here to make your experience personal, relaxed and truly memorable.

Lappiland hosts

Lappiland was born from a dream of slowing down, reconnecting with nature and sharing the magic of Finnish Lapland with others.
We are Lukasz and Sandra After almost 20 years of living in Wales, we decided it was time for a different way of life. We left behind busy cities, long working hours and everyday stress to follow what we had been missing for years peace, nature, photography and a place where we could truly do what we love.
We found that place in Finnish Lapland.
Today, we’re lucky enough to call Lapland home and to share it with our guests. We believe that the best experiences are personal, relaxed and genuine. That’s why we keep our groups small, take the time to get to know our guests and put real passion into every adventure we create.
Photography has been a big part of our lives for many years, shaping the way we experience and see the Arctic. We love searching for beautiful light, discovering quiet places and simply being outdoors and we want our guests to experience that same feeling of being somewhere truly special.

OUR FRIENDS & PARTNERS

We’re also proud to work closely with some wonderful local friends who share our love and respect for the Arctic and its animals.
Rami & Sari at Rami’s Huskies, Jan & Denisa at Wild Kemijoki Huskies, and Marti & Ellen at Mean Porot are not simply business partners to us they are people we trust and are happy to call our friends.
We know how much their animals mean to them. For them, working with animals is not simply a business it’s a way of life. That passion, care and respect is something we truly value and are proud to share with our guests.
Together, we want to give you an authentic Arctic experience created with passion, care and respect for the animals we love.

Wild Kemijoki Husky Experience

Wild Kemijoki Husky Experience

Meet Denisa & Jan, a Czech couple who followed their passion for sled dogs all the way to Finnish Lapland. Together with their small pack of Siberian Huskies and an Alaskan Malamute, they run their own kennel near Levi.
With years of experience in mushing and sled dogs, they believe that the welfare and happiness of their dogs always come first. Their small kennel allows them to give each dog the care, attention and life they deserve.
For Denisa and Jan, huskies are not simply working dogs they are family, companions and a way of life. Their goal is to share a genuine husky experience and give guests a glimpse into the life they love.
We’re proud to work with Denisa & Jan and to share their passion for these incredible animals with our guests. ❤️

Rami’s Huskies Experience

Meet Rami & Sari, a local family team whose story with sled dogs began back in 1996, when Rami got his first sled dogs. After years of working with his dogs, he founded Rami’s Huskies in 2001 and has continued to build his life around them in the small village of Kallo.
Today, Rami’s Huskies is all about small groups, personal experiences and a close connection with the dogs. Their Arctic sled dogs are carefully chosen for the demanding conditions of Lapland and are an important part of everyday family life. Guests also get the chance to meet the dogs after the safari, which for many becomes one of the highlights of the experience. Their renewed concept focuses on peaceful, private experiences where guests can enjoy the Arctic nature, meet the dogs and experience genuine sled-dog life away from the crowds.
We’re very happy to work closely with Rami & Sari and to share their passion for sled dogs and authentic Lapland experiences with our guests. ❤️
